About Giving Tuesday
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
About ChaGives
Last year, Chattanooga raised over $100,000 for its local nonprofit community in just 24 hours. Join us, as a nonprofit fundraiser, or a personal donor, to make Giving Tuesday in Chattanooga even bigger and better this year!
It’s a simple idea. Just find a way for your family, your community, your company or your organization to come together to give something more. Then spread the word about why you are giving using the hashtags #CHAgives and #GivingTuesday
