HOW IT HELPS:
The funds your vehicle can raise for us are worth so much to the individuals and families that we serve. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and autism are both general terms for a group of complex disorders of brain development. These disorders are characterized, in varying degrees, by difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repetitive behaviors. ASD can be associated with intellectual disability, difficulties in motor coordination, attention and physical health issues.
The Chattanooga Autism Center was created in 2009 and is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. It's a parent/advocate-driven center providing lifespan support and services for people with autism spectrum disorders and their families. The center also serves as an advocacy resource and builds awareness about autism in our region.
By donating your old car, boat, RV, or motorcycle to the Chattanooga Autism Center you’ll not only be making a difference in the life of someone with ASD, you may also qualify for a tax donation. Funds raised through the CARS program will be used to assist individuals affected by ASD in the Chattanooga area. Please donate today!
