Our CBT waitlist is full and we cannot take new referrals at this time. The CAC’s outpatient clinic provides cognitive behavior therapy for people of all ages who have Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental disorders. They also offer family therapy and social skills training (group and individual). Staff: Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with people of all ages who have Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families. Anna Shaw Children’s Institute

Anna Shaw Children’s Institute offers Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Family Therapy, Group Therapy, and Individual Therapy services by our psychology team consisting of Child Psychologists, Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) and Registered Behavioral Therapists (RBTs) and a Social Worker.

Autism Center for Children (Georgia)

Dr. Crittendon is a licensed clinical psychologist, Ph.D., BCBA-D, and the head of the Autism Center for Children. Her specialty is infant-toddler diagnostic early intervention with children diagnosed with autism. She sees patients up to 3 years of age. She does take most major insurances and also GA Wellcare and she also does assessments.

Camelot Care Centers

Camelot Care Centers provides the following services:

  • Home-based Intensive Counseling: This is provided to families struggling with behavioral, emotional and psychological needs such as depression and anxiety, defiant/disruptive behaviors, and social skills building. Counseling usually involves multiple visits per week by the family counselor to the home.

  • Outpatient Therapy: Clinicians provide therapy designed to assist individuals, couples, parents, and families in dealing with the difficulties that are faced in daily life. Can help children who are on the Autism Spectrum who may need support with social skills training.

  • Alcohol/Drug Abuse and Trauma Treatment: Counselors help families work through issues related to alcohol and drug abuse or traumas.

  • Group Therapy: Therapists offer support for those who otherwise believe they are alone in their struggles. Group therapy counselors are trained in trauma, informed care, and mental health issues, play therapy, and cognitive behavioral treatment.

Centerstone-Chattanooga

Centerstone offers many services and locations in the Tennessee area.  The services they offer are psychiatric services, such as counseling for addiction, trauma,  depression, and anxiety for children and adults.  They offer the counseling services for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

The Developmental Family Therapy Center utilizes a systemic focus and offers individual, family, and group therapy services, along with parent training for families of children with special needs.

  • Counseling services: Siskin currently accepts self-referrals for families with children up to age 10.

  • Training and services focus on working with families and children with a variety of developmental conditions, including: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Intellectual Delays, Developmental and Speech Delays, Chromosomal Developmental Impairments, Down Syndrome, & Sensory Integration Difficulties.

  • Social Skills Groups for children with high-functioning autism and for other children who have difficulty navigating social situations.

Helen Ross McNabb Center

The following therapeutic services are provided:

  • Outpatient Mental Health Services for Children and Adults – These are provided for individuals with a mental health diagnosis who have significant impairment in functioning. These therapy sessions are tailored to the needs of the client. TennCare, Cover Kids, and most Commercial Insurance Policies are accepted.

  • Outpatient Therapy Services at Red Bank High School – Provides school-based mental health services at Red Bank High School. This is for children/youth residing in the Red Bank community. Clients do not have to attend Red Bank High School and can meet with the therapist after school hours at RBH.

  • Trauma Informed Counseling Services – A Trauma Informed Therapist provides individual trauma informed psychotherapy to clients aged 3-21 who have had a traumatic experience..

Mental Health Co-op

The Mental Health Cooperative (MHC), a local non-profit, serves children, adolescents and adults who are struggling with emotional/behavioral issues as well as Autism Spectrum challenges.  MHC provides:

 

  • Evidence-based Psychotherapy

  • Child & Adult Psychiatry (board certified psychiatrists for children and adults)

  • Community based Care Management (home/school/court)

  • “Walk Right In Admissions” or call for appointment

  • Assistance with housing, food, clothing, budgeting, school consultation, eligibility benefits, court assistance, etc.  

  • Intensive Services for those needing a higher level of care in the home

Omni Community Health

Omni Community Health is a full-service, statewide behavioral health organization helping to heal children and adults, ages 2 to 92.

Partnership (Family Focused Solutions)

Family Focused Solutions provides counseling services to Tennessee's Families First participants. Through a strengths-based, 2 generational, and trauma informed approach, our five Masters level counselors empower clients for occupational, relational, and emotional success. We provide individual counseling, family counseling, parenting classes, life skills training, FLEX (Forming Lasting Employment Skills), self-advocacy training and case management to address these barriers that prevent self-sufficiency. System of Care Across Tennessee (SOCAT)

SOCAT currently offers care coordination using a wraparound approach for young children, children, youth, and young adults and their families. SOCAT serves those with the highest needs through a high fidelity wraparound  process. Wraparound is a planning process that follows a series of steps to help children and their families realize their hopes and dreams. The wraparound process also helps make sure children and youth grow up in their homes and communities.

  • Serving young child-young adult: between the ages of 0-21;

  • Youth experiencing emotional or behavioral concerns that affect their daily life (i.e. having trouble in school, with their family, with peers or adults, with law enforcement, or children's services);

  • Youth having difficulty or is at-risk of being kicked out of pre-school, child care, school, home, etc;

  • Youth currently, or is at-risk of psychiatric hospitalization, residential placement, or DCS custody

The Transition House of Tennessee

Victoria Davidson specializes in play therapy to help children express what is troubling them when they are unable to do so verbally.
