Health Connect America's IOP programs provide integrated treatment for co-occurring substance abuse and mental health issues. We have locations in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Virginia currently, and plan to continue adding locations over time. Health Connect America provides substance abuse and mental health intensive outpatient programs for adults and adolescents in separately contained programs. We welcome all clients for services related to alcohol and drug addiction, and in need of life enhancing recovery from co-occurring conditions. We expect that many clients presenting for treatment at our facility will have co-occurring issues and we will screen for these disorders. We provide options including integrated services related to alcohol and drug addiction and other behavioral health disorders. Our goal is to maintain an empathetic, ethical, responsive and professional attitude in all phases of care and we are dedicated to creating an environment of opportunity, choice and hope. All persons seeking services will be received in a welcoming and respectful manner regardless of presenting needs, symptoms or illness. We adhere to a "No Wrong Door" approach in order to remove barriers to care and services.

Iris's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides a comprehensive approach, merging elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to offer specialized care. Typically, participants attend therapy three to four times a week, each session lasting about three hours. Their program can include Group Therapy, Individual Therapy, Psychiatry, Holistic Therapy, and Family Therapy.

IOP provides supplemental, intensive, individualized psychotherapeutic treatment to clients struggling with a significant degree of mental and emotional distress. The sessions are 3 hours a day, 3 days a week. Their treatment sessions aren't meant to replace a regular therapist or psychiatrist. In fact, they help recommend clinicians to patients without one. They provide reinforcement, and help individuals suffering from serious pain or mental health disorders receive the extra care they need, without substantial disruptions to their lives.

The McNabb Center offers a full range of early childhood intervention and prevention programming, including Therapeutic Preschool. The Therapeutic Preschool is a 10-week outpatient program for children ages 4-6 who have experienced a traumatic event, such as abuse, neglect, natural disaster or loss of a loved one. The program helps children learn to manage difficult feelings and make safe choices. Children attend for three hours a day, three days a week and the environment replicates a daycare setting.

The Intensive Outpatient Program serves individuals 18 and older who have dual diagnoses of intellectual/developmental disability AND a mental health diagnosis, for example: anxiety disorder, explosive personality disorder, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, or schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorders. The IOP helps individuals develop skills to regulate emotions and make choices that line up with their individual goals. Group home staff of IOP participants are also trained in the same skills so that they can be further reinforced in the home and community setting.
